National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges

Mission: The MISSION of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges is to provide all judges, courts, and related agencies involved with juvenile, family, and domestic violence cases with the knowledge and skills to improve the lives of the families and children who seek justice.

United Citizens Foundation

Mission: United Citizens Foundation, Inc (UCF) is a certified non‐profit organization, whose purpose is to act responsibly and to be responsive to the needs of our community. We are dedicated to helping families, individuals, and students that are underprivileged and under‐served who reside in Southern Nevada.Our leading program establishes mental and behavioral health facilities on‐site at high school campuses throughout the valley. Services are provided at little to no cost to the student and their family members, so students can get the help they need and deserve without any financial worry.

City of Las Vegas 


Mission: The city of Las Vegas’ mission is to develop into a world‐class city with the goal of ensuring it is a great place to live and do business, as well as an exciting and attractive place to explore and enjoy for its 640,000‐plus residents and the 20 million tourists who annually visit the city’s vibrant urban core. With the support of the Las Vegas City Council, city staff is leading three initiatives to ensure continuous improvements: building a sustainable community through its City by Design program, preserving our unique history for future generations, and ending homelessness in our city.

Downtown Project

Mission: Our goal and purpose is to help make downtown Vegas a place of Inspiration, Entrepreneurial Energy, Creativity, Innovation, Upward Mobility, and Discovery, through the 3 C’s of Collisions, Co‐learning, and Connectedness in a long‐term, sustainable way. We’ve allocated $350 million to aid in the revitalization of Downtown Las Vegas. We’re investing $200 million in real estate, $50 million in small businesses, $50 million in education, and $50 million in tech startups.

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada

Mission: CCCN is dedicated to providing the most effective treatments, both existing and emerging, in order to diagnose and successfully treat cancer, serious blood disorders, breast health conditions, lung diseases and sleep disorders. SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

City of Las Vegas

Hyperloop One

Mission: Our mission is to deliver fast, direct, autonomous, sustainable transport at scale, beginning with three production systems in service by the year 2021.

Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada


Mission: The mission of the RTC is to serve as the transit authority, transportation planning organization and regional traffic management agency for Southern Nevada. As the RTC manages public transit, traffic management, roadway planning and funding, and implementation of Southern Nevada’s regional plan, all under one roof, it is in the unique position to leverage technology as a solution to address the region’s current and future mobility challenges, ultimately creating smart communities with increased efficiencies, improved safety and more mobility options.

Mission: Our mission is to provide high‐value, low‐cost travel experiences to our customers. We do this by driving continuous innovation, structuring the organization to ensure flexibility and nimbleness, a relentless management of costs, and maintaining a crystal clear vision of who our customers are and what they value.

Nevada companies were invited to submit their entries by March 31, 2017.

Three outside judges were asked to evaluate and score each entry independently.

The top scoring companies will be honored at the event on May 20 and profiled in a special publication on May 22.
